  1. I have many strong feelings about these images…the closeup of the cobbles. How often do we take for granted the earth we walk on, whether it be in the wild or in the wilder cities we’ve erected? It’s in the details that we see the need for accepting a history. This image wants me to ask, how many have trod here…how long have these stones been here…who placed them…etc. The other feeling belongs to the reddish blue clay plate in the room. The composition is quite striking. It also provokes many questions. Lovely.
